Every piece is a collaboration between nature and craft — sourced from Florida waters and finished with the kind of care that only comes from doing something you love.
Where it started.
What began as a personal project turned into a passion for preservation. Each crab is carefully sourced, cleaned, and posed to highlight its natural form — the vivid blues and oranges, the dramatic claw spread, the texture of the shell.
Blue Crab World pieces are made in Clearwater, Florida, one at a time. No two are exactly alike — that's the point.
The process.
How it's made

Sourcing
Each crab is hand-selected for shell integrity and size — only specimens in the best condition make the cut.

Preservation
The crab is cleaned and preserved using a multi-step process. Because crabs lose their color when they expire, each piece is carefully recolored by hand to restore the vivid blues and oranges of a live specimen.

Posing
Claws and legs are positioned by hand while the specimen is still pliable — creating the dramatic, lifelike poses each piece is known for.

Finishing
Each piece is sealed with epoxy for protection and longevity, then mounted and inspected before it leaves the studio.
